Gary a Stellenbosch University graduate with a BCom (Hons) degree and a lifelong career in the financial services industry. After 15 years with Old Mutual in the provider space, he moved into consulting, where he has spent most of his career specialising in Employee Benefits, with a strong focus on healthcare consulting.
He has successfully led several national healthcare consulting businesses and served as Vice-Chairman of the Financial Intermediary Association (FIA) Healthcare Exco. His extensive industry knowledge and ability to understand both client and broker needs position him as a key asset to the JIGSAW Health and Risk Services business.
With a rural upbringing, Gary’s love for the outdoors is second nature. These days, he enjoys cycling, mountain walks, and gardening. His family shares his passion for travel, often embarking on road trips to explore South Africa’s diverse landscapes. A highlight for him was an unforgettable journey through the Irish and Welsh countryside.
