Claims Team Leader
Unathi Matomane is the Claims Team Leader at Jigsaw, leading his team with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency and high-quality service delivery. In his role, Unathi is responsible for overseeing a team that processes and manages claims in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. He ensures that claims are handled efficiently and accurately while supporting operational performance and maintaining the standards expected across the business.
A key part of Unathi’s leadership involves guiding and developing his team to achieve their targets and deliver consistent results. Through effective oversight, performance support and a commitment to continuous improvement, he helps ensure that claims processes run smoothly and that service delivery remains professional and reliable.
Unathi began his professional career at Quest Staffing Solutions before gaining further experience at Old Mutual and Sanlam. He now brings this experience to his role at Jigsaw, where his background in the financial services environment supports his ability to manage claims operations with care, accountability and attention to detail.
Unathi holds a BTech in Project Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Outside of work, he enjoys football and cooking, reflecting his energetic and hands-on approach both professionally and personally. His leadership style is grounded in responsibility, teamwork and a commitment to delivering accurate outcomes that support Jigsaw’s clients, stakeholders and broader business objectives.
