Migrations & Implementations Lead
Melaan Nam-Hing is the Migrations and Implementations Lead, responsible for managing and overseeing the migration of existing group risk business onto new systems. Her role focuses on ensuring a seamless transition into business as usual operations by building strong operational capability and embedding a sustainable long term support structure.
With 29 years of experience in the financial services industry, Melaan brings a broad and well rounded skill set developed across a variety of roles, including Marketing Assistant, Assistant Accountant, Legal and Compliance Administrator, Team Leader and Operational Binder Specialist. This diverse background has given her a deep understanding of operational processes, compliance requirements and system driven environments, enabling her to deliver structured, efficient and sustainable implementation outcomes.
Melaan holds a Finance and Accounting Diploma from Birnam Business College, Certificates of Proficiency and Intermediate Business Studies from the Insurance Institute of South Africa, a Higher Certificate in Management from Milpark, and a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences in Internal Auditing from UNISA. Her strong academic foundation supports her analytical, detail oriented approach to complex operational change.
Outside of her professional role, Melaan enjoys reading, knitting and crocheting, and baking, interests that reflect her patience, creativity and attention to detail.
